Holiday season all year round!

It’s mid to late December and all is calm…

Not if you work in a fast paced, full service marketing agency dedicated to making sure your clients’ January sales are all sorted nice and early so you can revel in Christmas cheer! For the team at Denfield, Christmas is an amazing time of year - we are busy but excited!

December is not only the month of turkey, presents and Santa, it’s also the month that most members of team like to take time off to spend the festive period with their families. As it’s called “the holiday season” it makes sense that I get record numbers of holiday requests and I welcome them – everybody needs holiday. Whether it’s at home with family, friends and pets or you decide to head to the Alps for a session on the slopes, holidays are encouraged at Denfield.

We always like to be ‘fair’ – fair with our pricing and fair with our employees. It’s a demanding environment to work in - clients need things and they need them fast. Our team are aware of the demands and put 100% effort into meeting them head on and the large majority of time these demands are met early and expectations are exceeded. Running at this pace throughout the year means that when a chance to have a break comes around it’s important that it is taken. And no mobile phones with emails - a holiday means a holiday!

It is also important to plan holidays for the next year. Having something to look forward to and work towards is great motivation for when you are needed at work early or have to leave late in order to get the job done. Knowing that in March you have a weekend away with a loved one or that in June you will be soaking up the sun and drinking Spanish bars dry is enough to get you through the most demanding of days.

It’s amazing to see the difference in a member of the team when they return from their holidays – they are recharged and ready to go with creative solutions galore.

In summary, plan your holidays now as it benefits you, the company you work for and the clients that you are associated to. Not taking your holiday doesn’t make you a hero as nobody can work all year round without a break. Returning to the Denfield ethos of being fair, the team at Denfield have worked so hard this year we were delighted to reward them with two additional days holiday – Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Both of these days mean the team can spend time with their families, recharge and enjoy the festive period to the full. As you can imagine all clients’ work will be sorted for the January sale period in plenty of time before the Christmas break, meaning happy clients, happy team and a happy Christmas!
